Schedules (REVISED 11/5/08)
|
|
Tournament Locations: locations will be
determined by CCBL before each tournament, working with local member
associations. Minimum requirements are 2 lighted fields in good condition,
restroom facilities, and concessions. CCBL provides the umpires,
baseballs, and trophies. The host provides fields that are dragged and
lined, scorekeepers, concessions, and an onsite tournament director to
report scores. The host is encouraged to charge a $3 per day admission fee
for ages 12 and up (players and 3 coaches per team are admitted free). The
host uses this fee to pay for field preparation, etc., and keeps the
balance for their association. |
|
Age Determination: fall is preparation for
next spring, so the players’ league age is their age for next spring
season, determined by the player’s age as of 4/30/2009. |
|
Player Registration: all players must be
registered with CCBL to play in any tournaments. The registration fee is
$12 per player. If a player has registered in Spring 2008, then that
player is covered for the fall season as well. If a player has not been
registered in 2008, then the player must be registered and pay the $12
fee. This is required by the insurance company and is not optional. |
|
Team Tournament Entry Fee: $260 per team,
per tournament |
|
Registration Deadlines: all teams must be
registered 10 days prior to the start of the tournament; players must be
registered before the tournament starts. |
